How We Meet The Needs of Students

Code of Conduct

The SKANS School’s Code of Conduct applies to all members of the school community, including staff and students, and outlines the expected standards of conduct across all aspects of school life. Every member is responsible for upholding high ethical standards, valuing integrity, respect, diversity, freedom of inquiry, respectful expression, trust, honesty, and fairness. Adherence to these core values is fundamental to our educational community. Any significant breach or consistent undermining of the Code, including the appearance of misconduct, will prompt swift intervention from school management and may result in removal. The school prohibits discrimination based on race, religious creed, gender, medical, physical or mental condition, age, or any other characteristic protected by law. Intimidating behavior or threatening language is strictly forbidden, and severe action will be taken against repeated offenders. Relationships between staff and students must exhibit mutual respect, clearly distinguishing the roles of mentor and student, adult and child, with all interactions governed by integrity and honesty.

Co-curricular Activities

At SKANS International Islamic Schools, we believe in the holistic development of our students through a diverse range of co-curricular activities. Our programs include prestigious competitions such as the International Kangaroo Linguistic Contest, Pakistan Spelling Bee, HRCA English and Inter-School Spelling Bee, which enhance linguistic skills and foster a love for language. We also emphasize the importance of STEM education through innovative projects, Science Exhibitions, and participation in the International Kangaroo Mathematics & Science Contest, HRCA Mathematics Contest, and Math Olympiads. Our students are encouraged to develop their critical thinking and public speaking abilities through Debate & Speech contests, while also honing their technical skills with Python programming and robotics. Physical fitness and discipline are promoted through the Inter-School Taekwondo Championship. Additionally, we celebrate Pakistan’s national and defense days with great enthusiasm, instilling a sense of patriotism and cultural pride. Our Clubs and Societies support variety of interests, allowing students to explore and cultivate their individual passions. Open Days, and the Oxford Extended Program further enrich the student experience, ensuring a well-rounded education that prepares them for future success.

Our clubs are designed to support young learners in their academic endeavors while instilling the values of global citizenship and the SKANS Attributes: Confident, Responsible, Reflective, Innovative, and Engaged Learners. These clubs aim to develop leadership skills and enhance intellectual creativity and foundational growth. In addition to the SKANS Clubs, learners engage independently or in small groups across various areas of study, including creative arts, communication, English language and literacy, Mathematical development, technology, robotics, knowledge and understanding of the world, and personal, social, and emotional development under these clubs.
